We put official UK property data in one place. Every number has a source.
housedata.uk lets you search by postcode or address and see one property dashboard: EPC ratings and running costs, sold prices (Land Registry Price Paid Data), area house price trends (UKHPI), flood warnings, broadband and mobile coverage links, and a link to order the official title register. We label every field with its data source so you know exactly where each fact comes from.
We only use official or widely trusted public data. We do not estimate or guess.
Source: DLUHC — Open Data from the Energy Performance of Buildings Register (epc.opendatacommunities.org). We use the domestic certificate API. Ratings, recommendations, and running costs come from this register.
Source: HM Land Registry (gov.uk). Price Paid shows actual sale prices by postcode. UKHPI shows index and percentage change by region — we use it for area trends.
Source: Environment Agency — Real-time flood-monitoring API. We show active flood alerts and warnings within 15 km of the postcode you search.
Source: Ofcom. We do not hold coverage data ourselves; we link you to the official Ofcom checker with your postcode so you can see broadband and mobile availability.
Source: HM Land Registry. There is no public API for a single property’s title. We link you to the official GOV.UK service to order the title register and title plan. If we have access to the Land Registry “Use Land and Property Data” API, we show which datasets your account can use.
Source: Ordnance Survey Names API (and/or Places API when configured). We use it to resolve addresses to postcodes so we can look up EPC and other data.
Search is by postcode or address; we do not store your searches. If you create an account, we store your email and saved properties so you can return to them. We use cookies for session and theme preference. We do not sell your data. For full terms and privacy, see our policies (when published).
